1. Samsung Galaxy Tab A
The first tablet that we are going to take a look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2019 edition. This is the model with 32GB which is the only storage option and it comes with quad-core Qualcomm 429 2.0 GHz processor.
You can get this tablet in black or a white version with a silver black. Here I am talking about the black version and this actually looks pretty good. It has a smooth aluminum on the back and around the edges there is plastic that looks pretty good and feels flimsy. The only thing that seems a little odd to me is the screen seems to be sitting up on top of the rest of the tablet.
Power and volume buttons are placed on right side of the tablet. On the left side, you will see a SD Card slot and a headphone jack on the top. Then along the bottom, you’ve got speakers, microphone, and charging port.
The rear facing camera is actually pretty decent. Colors of image looks a little bit off but if you click images in bright light then quality of images will be improved.
For gaming, the tablet is powered by a dedicated Adreno 504 graphics, so you can play most popular games like PUBG and Call of Duty. This is obviously a Samsung device, so it comes with One UI that offers a bunch of useful and fun software perks.

2. Amazon Fire HD 10
The Fire HD 10 design shares much of the design language of other amazon tablets. It’s plastic body with a black, blue, or orange. The frame and buttons are plastic and don’t feel very premium but they’re clicky enough. It’s quite comfortable in the hand and it weighs 17.4 ounces.
There are dual speakers which are located at the bottom (if you’re holding it in landscape orientation), along with the 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Port, and a microSD card slot which is expandable up to 512GB.
The almost 10.1-inch display has a HD resolution and and a pixel density of 149 ppi. I think this display is good enough to watch HD movies and videos.
When it comes to performance, it comes with 1.8GHz MT8173B MediaTek processor and 2GB of RAM which makes the whole device smooth. It runs on Amazon’s latest Fire OS 5.5.
Overall, this tablet is for those who wants to do basic entertainment like playing light games, watch movies or videos, web-surfing, and all that stuff. You are not getting a powerhouse on the tablet.

3. Lenovo Tab M10 Plus
This back pannel has a smooth, matte black aluminum coating that really makes it look much more expensive than $150. The bezels are pretty much slimmed down all the way around.
One thing I love about this tablet is you have one speaker at the bottom and one speaker at the top. You’ll see a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the top, too.
This comes with Android 9, so I’ll be curious to see if this does get Android 10. They’re going with gestures for the navigation on the home screen. When you swipe left you will get Google News Feed which I definitely love more than Samsung Bixby.
This is considered a budget tablet, the good news for some of the most popular games is that it has decent performance. I tried this on PUBG mobile, and while it had the lowest graphics levels with medium frame rates, it worked relatively smoothly with only mild choppiness. There’s nothing I ‘d be complaining about for just $150

4. Fire HD 8 Plus
The fire tablets have been a huge success for amazon. This tablet just came out in june of 2020 and brings along a lot of very new and interesting features. There’s no actual predecessor to this device because the plus model is a brand new model.
The device features an 8-inch display. The resolution on the device is 1280×800, so it is a little bit better than 720p. We’re getting a PPI here of 189 and overall it’s a pretty decent display.
Overall, tablet is nice and light, so in general, it’s definitely they’re usable, very practical, it’s not bulky and while it doesn’t feel like a premium product. It also doesn’t feel super cheap.
